Think Straight is a blend of Lemongrass, lemonbalm, lemon verbena & yerba mate; these are herbs known for both their calming effects & stimulating properties. The three xanthines: caffeine, theobromine and theophylline present in mate have been shown to have a relaxing effect on smooth muscle tissue, and a stimulating effect on myocardial [heart] tissue. As such, Think Straight Organic Smart Tea may be of benefit as an alternative for those people who cannot consume coffee and caffeine added beverages late in the day.
